What is a Woman (Part two)

 

Scripture: Proverbs 31:21-31 (ESV)

²²    She makes bed coverings for herself;

her clothing is fine linen and purple.

²³    Her husband is known in the gates

when he sits among the elders of the land.

²⁴    She makes linen garments and sells them;

she delivers sashes to the merchant.

²⁵    Strength and dignity are her clothing,

and she laughs at the time to come.

²⁶    She opens her mouth with wisdom,

and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

²⁷    She looks well to the ways of her household

and does not eat the bread of idleness.

²⁸    Her children rise up and call her blessed;

her husband also, and he praises her:

²⁹    “Many women have done excellently,

but you surpass them all.”

³⁰    Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,

but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

³¹    Give her of the fruit of her hands,

and let her works praise her in the gates.

 

Meditation:

 

            Today we ponder further into the culture’s problem with trying to define what a woman is. Many places have decided to simply not define what a woman is. The Bible has no trouble with what a woman is. Neither for that matter does the Quran or most any ancient religious text. If we stand still and speechless on this issue all reality will cruise effortlessly into the sunset of civilization as we know it.

 

You see once womanhood no longer has a working definition then men will follow. Once you have put sex beyond debate by saying that you can no longer define them. All of humankind loses any sense of definition. Entire categories of crime go up in the smoke of the coming conflagration. Sexual misconduct itself is eliminated because no one can adequately define what sex is and how the sexes are to interact with each other.

 

            Transgenderism will have won the day if this reduction of definition succeeds. I am not calling for violence or anger with those people who engage in these ideas. What must be done to save womanhood and manhood is to insist that these are concepts that have meaning. Bending to transgender ideology will lead to the disintegration culture as we know it. We must restate that transgenderism is a mental disorder and begin treating it as such. No more affirmative care.

 

            Affirmative care is practiced in no other area of medicine. If a person came into a doctor’s office and sought to have his (healthy) right arm removed, the doctor would refer the patient to seek psychological care to deal with what is obviously a mental problem. Yet we will take a 7-year-old girl who feels like she is really a boy. Immediately doctors will give drugs that can have permanent unreversible effects on her little body. If she continues in this delusion, she will end up undergoing many surgeries with no guarantee that she will be even marginally happier in her “new” body than she was in her old one.

 

            The lie packaged here is the same one the serpent used on Eve and Adam in the garden “If you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil your eyes will be opened, and you shall be like God.” Well, that lie certainly worked out well for humankind didn’t it. This ideology comes straight from the pit of hell. We must arise as believers and call out this abomination for child abuse.

 

            To conclude let us set the matter out as plainly as can be stated. Women and girls are the female of species Homo Sapiens, and men and boys are the males of the species Homo Sapiens. Any attempt to vary from these definitions will have tragic and depressing consequences for those that use them.

 

May we use every last ounce of courage and will to fight to stop this in its tracks.
