Be Strong and Courageous*
Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Devotion Deuteronomy 31:6 is one of the most encouraging verses in the Bible. It says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave or forsake you." Moses spoke this verse to the Israelites before they entered the promised land, a time of great uncertainty and fear. They were about to face powerful nations and armies that seemed unbeatable. But Moses wanted them to trust God's presence and power, even when facing such formidable enemies and challenges. He also wanted them to find comfort in God's unchanging faithfulness and love, even when they felt alone and afraid. This verse is also relevant to us today.
