How Salty Are You?

  Scripture: Matthew 5:13 (NIV) “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. Devotion: As followers of Christ, we are called to be the "salt of the earth," a metaphor that carries profound significance. Salt, in its essence, does two primary things: it adds flavor and preserves. Both of these attributes are crucial to our Christian walk and our mission in the world. Firstly, let’s consider how salt adds flavor. Just as salt enhances the taste of food, Christians are meant to bring the flavor of Christ into every situation.
